For years the Dublin Pub has been one of Dayton's go to St. Patrick's Day celebrations. To mark the 21st edition of the Dublin Pub's St. Patrick's Day, The Dublin Pub will be bringing three straight days of music to celebrate. The celebration will begin Friday night with a performance by Dogwood Road at 8:30 pm. Come Saturday the celebration continues by opening up the big tent for those who chose to purchase VIP admission at 6 pm with Stranger taking the stage at 8 pm for the VIP experience. For those who don't choose VIP admission, another local favorite White Knuckle Weekend will be performing inside in the historic church addition at 9:30 pm. Come Sunday the real party begins, opening up at 4:30 am for a full day of music and fun. The music begins at 7 am with Jameson’s Folly and continues all day with the various acts The Pullouts, Father, Son & Friends and many more until the last band, Full Frontal takes the stage from 9 pm to 1 am.

Admission is $10 and includes admission for both Saturday and Sunday. For party-goers looking for an upgraded experience, VIP admission is $50 and includes admission for STRANGER VIP Night & St. Patrick’s Day, tickets for food or drink, and a St. Patrick’s Day souvenir cup – a $75 value.

With a new location this year, WTUE's St. Patrock's Day is taking the longtime area favorite to the streets of Fairborn. This year WTUE will be closing down the streets of downtown Fairborn on March 17th from 10 am - 6 pm for a day of music, food, and fun. The band line up for this event includes Shadowlife playing at 10:30 am, Latter at 1:15 pm, and Ithika at 4 pm. Also, included in the event is a great line up of food trucks that include EAT!, Christian Brothers Meat Co, The Painted Pepper, Hunger Paynes, Thai 1 On, and Lillia's Outside Cafe. Admission is $10 and there will be a tent covering the streets so the party can go on rain or shine. Also, thanks to WTUE's commitment to preventing drinking and driving an Uber/Lyft Pick up/Drop off station has been set up at 305 W Main St, Fairborn. More event information can be found on Facebook.

Yellow Cab Tavern

As one of Dayton's hottest music venues, it is no surprise that the Yellow Cab Tavern has a great St. Patrick's Day event planned for this year. The party takes place from 1 pm - 9 pm and has some excellent performers on its schedule. Perhaps the best out of the lineup is Dayton's own Great Northern String Band who will be performing one of the Grateful Dead's best records, Dead Reckoning, in its entirety. Apart from the music, the Yellow Cab Tavern will also have food trucks and a kids craft area. Admission is $10, but kids under 18 will be allowed in free.

The Yellow Cab Tavern is located at 700 E 4th St, Dayton, Ohio and more event information can be found on Facebook. You can also check out DaytonLocalMusic's review of the Great Northern String Band here.
